The Drone Pilot Certification Workshop is a 2-day prep course taught by Mandy Briggs, Institute of Aviation at Parkland College. (Mandy's students have over 99% success rate). It is intended to prepare candidates for the Drone Pilot Certification required under the FAA's Small UAS Rule (Part 107).
The course will be held on June 10 and 11, 2024.
- June 10: 8:00 am til 5 pm with practice exams to be completed on your own in the evening.
- June 11: We will reconvene at 8:00 am until lunchtime. Exams will be scheduled for the afternoon. (Exams may also be taken the following day if the participant chooses to take the exam elsewhere.)
Lunch will be included each day.
The exam will take approximately 2 hours and will be scheduled at an FAA testing center. A separate fee of $175 will be paid to the testing center when exam appointment is scheduled
CCA: 12 CEUs
